Example datasets show how completed PARS CSV files can be structured for different passive acoustic monitoring platforms. Download the files below to compare filled examples with the blank templates.

Each ZIP file includes the PARS CSV files relevant to that platform type.

Moored Surface Buoy

This example includes two deployments using bottom-mounted moorings with SoundTrap recorders. The audio recordings were analyzed for daily presence/absence of North Atlantic right whales using the Low-Frequency Detection and Classification System (LFDCS).

Electric Glider

This example includes a single mobile glider deployment that generated real-time detections of fin, humpback, North Atlantic right, and sei whales using a Digital Acoustic Monitoring Instrument (DMON). Because this is a mobile platform, the example includes the gpsdata.csv template with GPS positions along the glider track.
